Hi!

Happy September!  I’d like to say, “Happy Autumn”, but according to the calendar, there are two more weeks of summer.  (Officially Autumn starts 22nd September) The weather doesn’t seem to reflect that, as the temperatures are more autumn-like.  And autumn is my favourite season.

So, I’ve some news!  The book got placed on Amazon on Thursday, 27th August 2020—about 11 days early!  Yippee!

The Husband, The Stepson and The Author

“I’m married to an author!  I’m married to an author!” Husband struts around the flat, and is so happy with me.  On Saturday, 29th August he invited my step-son to join us at the local Harvester Restaurant to celebrate.  I had steak and shrimp.

Perfectly cooked!

United Kingdom: Angelee’s Dilemma

Besides the changing colours of the leaves, the cooler temperatures and the shorter days, apples come into season.  I have a couple of friends who have apple trees in their gardens.  So, being blessed with fruit, I gave into my cravings and made apple pie.  That first bite settled into my mouth, warm, sweet—accented with cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg.  I think I may have to bake more!!!

Just out of the oven!

Maisy!  Well, she can cause a great deal of irritation.  Like when she whines at 1.00 am and wants/needs to go outside.  Grumbling, fussing and exasperated I pull on trousers and lead her out of the flat, down the stairs and out the building.  If I’m unlucky, she sees a cat or a fox.  I give her leash a tug and remind her to do her business.

Swaddled on Mommy and Daddy’s bed!

And while I’m waiting, I look up.  The blue/black sky is clearer since covid-19 has limited the amount of air traffic.  The stars and satellites twinkle at me—and I play connect-the-dot to find the big dipper, little dipper, Orion’s Belt.  I sigh, amazed at the beauty of the moon, as a passing cloud floats by revealing the silver orb.  Still, I know I’ll be tired the next day—because it takes at least half-an-hour to forty minutes to slide back into dreamland.

Yet this fluffy little creature can make me smile, or out-and-out laugh.  Like when I sit on the couch; she climbs up on the arm of the couch and drapes her little front leg over my arm while I’m reading.  Or we got out for a walk, and she spies a soccer ball.  We have to play.

God is so good.  I know my life is blessed.  Now that I’ve done one book, I’m getting excited about the 2nd.  That title is Olivia’s Options.  I’ve started focusing on the research for that one.  But I will also be sharing more from my research on Angelee’s Dilemma.

So, that’s it for this post.

Serving Jesus, Author of our faith!
